Exciting new classes are scheduled at the Wetland Center for Spring 2014.  Classes are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month.  Below are the dates along with the topic for the day:

September 11, 2013 –Welcome – Getting to Know You
October 9, 2013 – Predator/ Prey
November 13, 2013 – Wild Edibles of the Fall
December 11, 2013 – Feathers – Birds Are Lucky to Have Them!
January 8, 2014– Using Nature for Our Fun
February 12, 2014– What is This Thing Called A Compass?
March 12, 2014 – Celebrating Birds
April 9, 2014 – Scatastrophy! – All God’s Critters Gotta Poop!
May 14, 2014 – Hike – Meadows of the Wetland

The number of students in class will be limited to 25 and need to be preregistered in order to participate.  Please call to reserve a spot in the class at least two weeks prior to the class date.  If a waiting list develops for the class, pre-payment for classes may be necessary.

Time of Classes:  10:00 – 11:30
Cost of Classes:  $5.00/Participant
Payment:  Check, Cash, Credit Card, Money Order
What to bring/wear:  Bug Spray, closed toed shoes, science journal, picnic lunch to enjoy after program.

**All age ranges are accommodated during lessons.  When registering children, please keep in mind that if you would like your child to receive class materials, answer questions and/or participate in class activities, they will also need to be registered for the class regardless of age.
