Fall/Spring 2011 Home School Classes at the
John Bunker Sands Wetland Center

Exciting new classes are scheduled to begin at the Wetland Center in September 2011.  Classes will be held the 2nd Wednesday of every month.  Below are the dates along with the topic for the day:
               
September 14 –Welcome – Getting to Know the Center
October 12 – Predator/ Prey – Animal CSI
November 9 – Fall in the Wetland
December 14 – Game Show – Wetland Wizard Bowl
January 11 – Reptiles – Our Scaly Skinned Friends
February 8 – WWW.Winter Wetland Wonderland
March 14 – Celebrating Birds
April 11 – Dipping, Digging and Dabbling in the Water
May 9 – Hike – Meadows of the Wetland

Number of students in class will be limited to 25 and need to be preregistered in order to participate.  Please call to reserve a spot in the class at least two weeks prior to the class date.  If a waiting list develops for the class, pre-payment for classes may be necessary.

CLASS DETAILS:
Time of Classes:  10:00 – 11:30
Cost of Classes:  $5.00/Participant
Payment:  Check, Cash, Credit Card, Money Order
What to bring/wear:  Bug Spray, closed toed shoes, science journal (if keeping one), picnic lunch to enjoy after program.
