Research at The Wetland Center

The John Bunker Sands Wetland Center looks forward to partnerships with research institutions and is excited to announce its affiliation with Baylor University who will soon be conducting aquatic research on the wetlands.

 

Dr. Bryan W. Brooks at Baylor University

Dr. Bryan W. Brooks, Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Baylor University is interested in research that includes assessments of anthropogenic influences on ecosystems and water quality. He actively collaborates within Baylor's newly formed Reservoir and Aquatic Systems Research Center which believes that protection and prudent management of water resources is essential for sustaining economic viability and ecological health. Dr. Brooks will be involved with The East Fork Wetland Project, monitoring environmental changes in water quality criteria and standards.
